MenoMedia
At MennoMedia we publish highly readable, thoughtful curricula and books
that call readers to follow Jesus in word and deed. We publish resources
about Christian living, reconciliation, anti-racism, justice, and
theology from an Anabaptist perspective, and our products reach a broad
spectrum of evangelical, mainline, and Anabaptist readers. Our
MennoMedia curricula, periodicals, and hymnals reach congregations that
share these same affinities, cultivating passion for faith formation and
an active life of discipleship rooted in trusting God and following
Jesus. Our Herald Press books support the spiritual life of Christians
and inform thoughtful faith and action from a variety of perspectives.
The mission of MennoMedia is to engage faith communities and individuals
in going deeper with thoughtful Anabaptist resources to enrich Christian
faith in a complex world.
Anabaptist World - Anabaptist World Inc. (AW) is an
independent journalistic ministry serving the global Anabaptist
movement. We seek to inform, inspire and provide a forum where
Mennonites and anyone interested in Anabaptism can explore faith and
culture.
Our goal is to be the flagship Anabaptist publication, in print and
online — the place where a diverse community comes together to explore
and strengthen Anabaptist values and encourage one another to follow
Christ faithfully.
While Anabaptist Word began September 1, 2020, our predecessors
laid the foundation for this work over the past century (Mennonite
World Review) and even longer (The
Mennonite and Gospel Herald).
In this continued work we are guided by our four core values.

Birthday & Holiday Gift Giving Ideas
Looking for a unique gift to give that person that already has everything? The perfect antidote to a consumerist culture is to give the GIFT of GIVING. Below are several gift ideas from various agencies that offer gifts that keep on giving.
Heifer International- Choose a meaningful gift to give on behalf of a loved one and help children and families around the world receive training and animal gifts that help them become self-reliant. Give the gift of a flock of chicks for as low as $20, or share of a cow and many other gift options. These make excellent gifts on behalf of children who love animals while teaching them to be a blessing to others around the world.
World Vision – Similar to Heifer International, World Vision has several animal gift options. In addition to this, they also offer gifts of anything from medical supplies and clean water wells to soccer balls (for the athlete in your family). World Vision also has a child sponsorship program for $30 a month which is an excellent way for your children to connect with a child his/her age in another part of the world.
MCC Giving Projects – Mennonite Central Committee offers several gift options including Food, Water, Education, Peace Building, and Health. MCC also offers child sponsorship programs through their Global Family program.
KIVA Gift Card – Kiva is a microfinance program which gives small loans to entrepreneurs around the world that would otherwise not be able to get a loan through a traditional bank with the goal of alleviating poverty. With the gift of a KIVA gift card, the recipient can log onto the kiva.org website read the profiles of people requesting loans, and then loan the money to the person of their choice. Loans are paid back over time and the gift card recipient can cash out, or decide to reinvest that money into someone else.
Mennonite Economic Development Agency (MEDA) – For more than 50 years, MEDA has been designing and implementing innovative and effective market-driven economic development programs that improve the livelihoods of millions of people living in poverty around the world.
